I was concerened at first, so I asked the doctor about it and he said that nutrition wise, the chocolate milk has the same nutritional value as "yegular" milk and about as much sugar as a serving of fruit juice. So I don't really sweat it anymore. I only let them have it at breakfast and supper. The rest of the time they have to drink white milk or water.<Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-845698380392147546.post-4652187557024047252008-08-12T11:56:00.000-04:002008-08-12T11:56:00.000-04:00yummy!When my kids were switching from nursing to ...yummy!

When my kids were switching from nursing to drinking milk..I have a hard time in getting them to drink white milk so I always offer them chocolate milk! I know it isn't the healthiest for you and all but they would drink and then I was able to eventually get them to drink white milk by switching back and forth between chocolate and white milk.

As for things that I have Sonshinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04853563088171290394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-845698380392147546.post-77834500344367187832008-08-12T09:19:00.000-04:002008-08-12T09:19:00.000-04:00That post just made me seriously hungry. I have made some really easy things like my own herb butter - I just chopped a ton of fresh herbs from my garden and mashed it into some nice plugra butter and formed it into a log and put it in the freezer. The other thing I have done is make my own seasonings like taco - and it was better than store bought for sure!Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12687630702580015610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-845698380392147546.post-35004530896873977822008-08-12T01:44:00.000-04:002008-08-12T01:44:00.000-04:00I'm snickering at the "cruel mom" comment. I'd love to try it sometime. Thanks! :)

Blessings,
MicheleMichele @ Frugal Granolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15521447706106950067noreply@blogger.com
