My Favorite Christmas Picture . . . so far

For years I had never sent pictures with my Christmas cards.  I just did not think about it until I had kids.  The first year our son was born he was about 6 months old and during Christmas we went to the portrait studio and had Christmas pictures taken.  I don't even remember if I sent them with our Christmas cards or not, but the next year I remember our pictures.  It was the first year that I tried to take our family picture by myself and then put it into a Christmas card.  I used Shutterfly to do that.

I had us sit in front of our Christmas tree and it actually turned out pretty good.  It was the first year we lived in our own house.  The only thing I regret is the blinds in the background.  Otherwise, I was so excited to be able to do our Christmas pictures at home because with a young child, pictures at a professional studio are never fun or easy!  Of course I still have a lot to learn about lighting and placement but oh well.

I love Shutterfly.  My love of Shutterfly all started with that first Christmas card because it enabled me to add my own picture and to say what I wanted to say.

If you are wanting to stage your own Christmas photo this year, I highly recommend checking out Shutterfly's many Christmas photo cards.  They have a lot to choose from.  I personally like these two:

They have holiday cards to check out as well.  Then you could buy some address labels to put on your cards.

If you are looking for gift ideas go see their many calendars that you could make for a loved one.

Their gift tags are a cute way to personalize your gifts.

I used Shutterfly for all of my baby announcements.  I used Shutterfly for birthday party invites.  I used Shutterfly to make brag books for my mother-in-law, mother and stepmother.  Yes, I am a fan.

Also, right now you can get free shipping for orders that are $30 or more by entering the code: SHIP30 at checkout.

Disclosure:  I was given 50 free holiday cards by Shutterfly for an honest review.  The words are my own and I have used Shutterfly for at least 4 years for all of my picture needs so I do recommend them.
