Extraordinary Ordinary Fun - A Blanket Fort

It is spring break here and we have about 7-9 inches of snow.  I personally like snow so it doesn't bother me.  I like it!

We do blanket forts every now and then but this time I took it up a notch.  I "borrowed" my husband's rope and tied it in a rectangle shape and we piled all the blankets in the middle.

Then we used clothes pins to secure the blankets in the middle.

And here the kids are underneath.

They played and played in here.  And now they are camping out and sleeping on the floor in the blanket fort.

Seriously cheap entertainment!  The worst part is just folding the blankets but we don't mind.

How do you build your blanket forts?

  1. This is a great idea. It would keep them busy for awhile.
