Menu Plan - 3.13.2011
One of our favorite meals from last week was Ranch Parmesan Chicken from the freezer (OAMM). My husband loved this meal. It is also good cold on salads the next day. There were several meals from last week that I did not get to that are going to be repeats. I have a lot of books checked out from the library - many of them cookbooks (you know how I love cookbooks) and one of them is $5 Dinners. I am looking for new ways to cook whole chickens. We love our sticky chicken in the Crock Pot, but I just want to try a few different ideas.
And my Grandma Betty and Great Aunt Lucy used to make Ham and Cornmeal Dumplings and no one in my family seems to have the recipe so I am going to do some experimenting to see if I can re-create it. It is salty and delicious. If I find a good recipe, I will post it later this week if you are interested. I have this listed for Tuesday but I will probably just do it on a colder day.
