Menu Plan Monday - 11.14.10


Here is this week's menu plan.  We did have the slushies with spinach from last week and I think I put a little too much spinach because the color was not too pretty but I thought they tasted good.  My husband said we would have to cut the spinach so the kids wouldn't detect it because my son knew what was up.

Breakfast:

Oatmeal, blueberries and sliced almonds
Whole Wheat English Muffin, Peanut butter and banana
Yogurt, fruit and Kashi GoLean Crunch
Blueberry Whole Wheat Waffles and syrup

Lunch:

BBQ chicken and spinach in a whole wheat tortilla
Whole Wheat tortilla pizza with pepperoni
PB & J and grapes

Suppers:



Chicken Bombay, brown rice and broccoli

Steak, Baked Potatoes,Salad
Chicken Fried Rice
Mini Meatloaves, Sweet Potatoes, Green Salad
Salmon, potatoes and green beans
Sticky Chicken in the Slow Cooker   (my husband can eat this weekly), mac n cheese and baked beans

Snacks:

 Apples and cheese
Grapes
Hummus and Pita chips

  1. any time i add spinach, no matter how much, the color gets ugly. quickly. i think as long as it tastes good, it's not too much :)

    I use the bbq sauce and cheese. I just put a little bbq sauce and them top it with cheese and we love them!
