CVS Deal - just for fun

So, I will post my most recent CVS shopping experience. I know I probably could have done it in more transactions, and spent less out of pocket, but I know I will use my Extra Care Bucks quite frequently so I am okay with how I did it:

I purchased:

(2) CVS Brand Cotton Swabs - 625 count $2.99 each
Huggies Jumbo 40 count $8.99
Huggies Pull ups 26 Count $8.99
(3) Essence of Beauty Toe Separators $0.99 each
(1) Organic Cotton Ball $2.49 each

Total before coupons: $33.42

Huggies Diaper Coupon: $1.00
Huggies Pull Ups: $2.00
CVS brand $3.00 off $10.00: $3.00
Get $4.00 off of $20.00
ECB: $5.00

Total coupons/savings: $15.00

Total OOP: $18.42

Total ECB back: $16.00
Which includes $1.00 from the CVS brand Organic Cotton Balls

Scheduling

So, I am now staying at home full time (I had a part time job for 12 weeks to cover maternity leave). Anyway, I am going to get into scheduling - my time, my son's time and my infant daughter's time. I will blog more on this later, but if anyone has any tips or tricks, let me know!

CVS - I'm trying

So today I went in to get the Glucerna deal. That worked out well. I also got 3 CVS Rapid Release 24ct Pain Reliever @ $3.99 each. But, they didn't have them tagged $3.99 so I scanned them on the scanner and it came up that I could use my flexible spending account card for those. So, I did and then I got $11.97 back in ECB (extra care bucks). This was very exciting to me.

Wal-mart, yet again

Well, Wal-mart decided to drop their lawsuit against the lady with the head injury. Regarding this subject, many have stated - Well, she should have read the fine print. I understand that. Corporations need to make money. But what I was asking for is mercy. Wal-mart had every legal right to do what they did. And, they may not be able to do that for everyone. More than anything it was just human kindness that we needed to see. So, thank you, Wal-mart!
