Week in Review - the kite flying edition

Sunday evening we went out to fly our kites and it was the best night we have had in a long time.   It was so sweet and so fun.  The kids did great.  My daughter did the best mostly because she stayed more still than my son.  You will see how it ended though - slightly tangled.  And then we went and ate some ice cream to celebrate our success (ha).

Poor Little Man he didn't have a kite to fly.



















And this is how our kite flying came to an end.  One kite stuck in a tree and the other kite's string wrapped around my keys.  I had to go home and cut the string before we got ice cream.




We still thought having some ice cream was a good idea!



We did other things this week, but this was by far the best!  How was your week?

    Looks so fun. I love flying kites. Something really exciting and still peaceful about it.

    Sarah, I bet you could do it on a windy day. The trick is to not get the kite tangled which I did.
