Our Week in Review - the State Fair Edition

Well, I haven't done a week in review in two weeks (mainly because of last week's freezer cooking).  So here is your warning - this post contains lots of pictures.

We went to a fun place for my son's friend's birthday.

And this is where my car-loving little man stayed almost the whole time.  In the corner, in the car:

We also went to my niece's 10th birthday party.  And guess where little man sat half the night - in the car:

And here is my sister with my little Miss M on her shoulders

We also made it our State Fair.  We love to go every year and one of the best things is the little farm that the kids enjoy doing.

Here they are with their aprons and baskets.

Gathering eggs!

"Feeding" the animals

They get a hat too!

Planting the "seeds"

Gathering apples

Oh, we had to stop off to ride the tractors

And milking the cow

I always try to get their pictures in the tractor tires, but Little Man was having none of it

 We love John Deere!

I'm not sure what is going on here

This is a picture of a rainbow my husband sent from his work.  We FINALLY had rain so this rainbow was a welcome sight!

Oh, and we started doing karate.

Yep, that was our week.  It was a pretty good one.

Hope your week is going well!

  1. Looks like a great week! When I saw that picture of the kids on the little tractors it took me WAY back. Remember when you & Little Randy had one of those? I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I also remember us all fighting over who was going to ride it. :)

  2. Oh how fun! What a neat place. I about spit out my coffee when I saw the picture with the painted tractor and the brawny farmer and then the sweet little head on top. Ha! Ha! That was cute!

    Have a fabulous day friend.

I know! Dad redid it a while back and it still looks good. I would love to get one for us to have.

I definitely would not want you to spit out your coffee. I know how precious it is to you.
