Week in Review - 10.20.12

This last week we went to Appleworks (one of our favorite places to go in the fall).  It is a beautiful apple orchard out in the country.  We had Fall break/Flex Week with school so we were pretty relaxed but we did get some school done.

I made breakfast in bed for my husband.  I found this pumpkin french toast recipe and it was delicious!

 

 And I don't know what to say about this goofy girl.

And here is the story, my son wanted to buy this hideous pumpkin that had wart-like things all over it.  I started to get it and then I just kept gagging every time I looked at it so I made him switch it out with this one.  Ugly but at least it doesn't make me want to throw up.   Boys!

We had a little bon fire/pumpkin carving party.

And I cut myself some bangs.  I get bored with my hair.

I have been having my 7 year old do more cooking lately.  He doesn't love to when I ask but once he is into it, he likes it.  Here he is stirring up so no bake cookie bars.   We also made pizza.  We actually threw the dough up in the air and they loved it.

I decided to do some impromptu crafting.  We did fingerprint trees.  

Here is our little three month old.  She is getting so big so fast.  Well, big is a relative term because she is still so small.
