Well, first things first I wanted to announce the winner for my picnic pack give-a-away.  I used random.org and the winner is:

Tonight was a nice night and my husband was working late so I decided to put my picnic pack to good use.  The kids and I went to one of our favorite parks and had a little picnic.  Well, we tried to have it on the ground and I spread out my new picnic blanket but then there came a small army of ants that were quickly getting everywhere so we had to pack up and go to the picnic tables.  We still had a wonderful time and here are a lot of pictures to prove it.

Wordless Wednesday . . . Our first baseball game

We went a little overboard on the snacks, but we had so much fun.  It was the kids first time at the  game and we will definitely be back.

I always want to get pictures of them getting along because it sometimes doesn't last long.

In the Garden

I have always loved that song "In the Garden".

I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses . . .

Every time I look at my little garden I am amazed at how God provides for our needs.  We have small seeds that we plant into dirt and they grow into unbelievable things.  I love to look at my little garden on a daily basis.  I love to see how the strawberry plants start out as having pretty white flowers and then they turn into little green strawberries and finally big, red strawberries.  God is simply amazing.

A telescope or is it?

My son wanted a telescope so I thought about just making one out of card stock that we had.  So I made it and then he found another use for it - a megaphone too!  Can you see my daughter covering her ears in the corner?  She doesn't like loud noises.
