So it is a little late for the “Works for Me Wednesday” post but I will post a few things that work for me. Right now though it doesn’t feel like anything works for me!
Putting all my sheet sets into their pillowcases. I learned this trick from a book. You take a sheet set and you put the flat sheet, fitted sheet and the other pillow case into one of the pillow cases. This way your sheet sets are always together.
Doing my laundry on Monday and having a cleaning schedule. I don’t always get to everything, but at least I have a plan and I can just wake up and know what needs to be done for that day.
Freezer cooking a.k.a. Once A Month Cooking – It is so nice to be able to grab a meal from the freezer when I don’t have time to think about what to cook.
So, those are just a few things that work for me.
That sheet idea is a great one!
ReplyDeleteI've been following your cleaning schedule and so far, I love it! I love knowing exactly what I'm going to do each day and it doesn't seem to take as long as the schedule I was going by before...I don't know if that's true or not, but that's how it SEEMS to me anyway, so I'm gonna go with it!
ReplyDeleteWhy does that sheet idea seem so revolutionary?!? Why did I not think of that before! SO SIMPLE!
ReplyDeleteI know the sheet idea does seem so easy. I have been doing it for several years now and it is so much better because it really does keep your sheet sets together.
ReplyDeleteKlutzymama,
I like the cleaning schedule too! It does seem like it doesn't take as long and it makes Monday's less dreary with not having to clean something.
I will definitely be giving this one a go!
ReplyDeleteWow! The sheet thing IS a great idea! Why didn't you ever tell me about that before? :)
ReplyDeleteI am going to try the sheet idea for some of my extra sets. I store several sets of fitted and flats under our mattresses between the mattresses and box springs.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to develop a cleaning schedule for several years now. I like yours-in fact I am going to begin today. Thanks for the ideas ! :)
