Bragging on my sister
My sister is so creative. I have been meaning to post this for a while. We had a lunch for my dad's birthday at my house. My dad loves cheeseburgers, and I mean loves them. He could have one everyday (and I think he actually does). Anyway so my sister and I decided we wanted to make him a cheeseburger cake. We got the instructions from here. Well, I bought the supplies and she - made the cake. I just wanted to share a picture of it.

That is an amazing cake! I love handmade cakes - and they are so uncommon these days. All of the parties we head to have a store bought cake...well, I hope my kiddos will be happy/appreciative of their handmade cakes! This mama is going to bake!

ReplyDeleteThat looks great. That would be great for an April Fools dinner. I have a meatloaf recipe with potatoes on the outside that also looks like a cake. Or a "taco salad" that is an ice cream sundae. Food is so cool to work with! Great post!
