This week's menu is heavily influenced by my husband. He told me he wanted to have tacos twice - beef once and chicken once so I am obliging. He also wanted hamburgers and spaghetti - a pretty easy week for me. Last week's menu favorite is Chicken and Spinach with penne. This was really delicious and I have a delicious tomato sauce in the freezer which I used to top the penne - it is ButterYum's San Marzano Tomato Sauce and it was delicious even thought I didn't use the San Marzano tomatoes.
I would like to leave you with pictures of our Easter dinner. My stepmom hosted it and she makes wonderful desserts and sets very cute tables. She's also a great cook. My sister decorated the lamb cake. We had a wonderful day of worshiping our Lord and of being with family.
Now onto the menu:
Breakfast:
Scrambled Eggs and turkey bacon
Cereal and Milk (if we run out of eggs)
Lunch:
Salad with shredded cheese, thinly sliced almonds, precooked chicken and homemade dressing
Tortilla pizza or chicken nuggets or homemade uncrustables and veggie straws and apples for the kids
Leftovers
Supper:
Beef tacos with soft shells, sweet corn, salad and peaches
Hamburgers and fries, carrots
Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry with Stir Fry veggies- we didn't have this last week
Spaghetti and Meatballs, salad and fruit smoothies
Chicken tacos, salad and applesauce
Pizza - BBQ Chicken Pizza or Chicken Alfredo Pizza or Sloppy Joes Pizza and Strawberry Peach Slushie
What is on your menu this week?
I would love to have taco's twice in one week, possibly more. I don't think Josh would go for that. But he might go for having hamburgers numerous nights per week.

Sarah,
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could compromise and have tacos and hamburgers twice in a week - that would be a super easy meal plan:)
