Happy Memorial Day

I am so thankful for Memorial Day because it makes us stop and think about all of the men and women who sacrificed and gave their lives for their country.  It also makes me so thankful for the families who also sacrificed by allowing their family members to serve.

I was watching 20/20 this last week and they had an amazing survival story involving an unexploded bomb being impaled in a solider who was still alive.

It is a wonderful story of survival and sacrifice from the doctors who saved him.

And lets not forget to be thankful today for those that did give their lives and for those that are still serving.  I for one forget what they go through day in and day out.  So thank you to all who serve and to their families!
