Garden Update - June

I really haven't paid much attention to my little garden.  I have been watering it during this crazy  heat and pulling an occasional weed, but other than that I haven't done much.  Nothing much is required right now though.  I did pull a monster radish.  And I have been getting lettuce for salads quite often.

Broccoli and some flowers sprouting up

See the "blue" blueberry

lettuce, pumpkins, tomatoes, marigolds, carrots, spinach, radishes

My monster pumpkin vine

Blackberries!

Onions and peppers and tomatoes oh my

Strawberries are very boring this year:(

Green beans seem to be doing fine despite some neglect

How is your garden growing?

  1. I'd say it's looking pretty good. We (my husband) just ripped out our remaining zucchini and squash plants as they were getting powdery mildew and we didn't want it to spread to the watermelons. But don't worry we had gotten TONS of veggies off them before this. Other than that our garden is doing really well.
    Have a great day.

You won't believe it. Just yesterday we had hail and it ripped half my garden to shreds. My pumpkin vine broke at the main stem:(
