Today's Tip - Fill the Grill Freezer Cooking


This past week when we grilled out my husband asked me to bring him a bunch of things that we could grill while the he was already grilling that we could freeze and eat later so we "filled the grill" with:

  • Salmon
  • Bone-in Chicken Breasts (two dinners worth)
  • Salisbury steaks
  • Pork ribs (two dinners worth)
I make a very easy marinade - soy sauce and honey.  Just pour some in a freezer bag and marinate for 1-8 hours. 

In one night we made 6 freezer main dishes.  And that is my tip for the day.

  1. We are grill-less at the moment, but I used to do this too. What a great way to get things done ahead of time.
